There is a common misconception about what the Department of Educatioin does - they do not set curriculum. They protect students with special needs. If we have worked with your child, your child has benefited from the Department of Education whether you knew it or not. Let's reach out to our elected officials to tell them that protections for children with special needs should not be a partisan issue.

The federal government’s grant funding and technical support to help states administer newborn hearing screening programs has proven to be extraordinarily effective over the years. However, recent federal changes and proposed budget cuts will negatively impact these vital state level programs.
