“Meridian” is inspired by the natural lines that form where land, light, and movement meet. A band of raised texture runs across the canvas, creating depth and contrast against the soft metallic background. The sculptural surface catches the light and shifts subtly as you move around the piece.

This piece feels like a quiet fracture, something subtle but undeniable. A line moves through the center like a divide, but it doesn’t feel harsh. It feels like a shift, like something gently pulling apart to create space. The surface carries a softness to it, almost like fog or memory, while the raised form holds a deeper tension underneath. It’s not loud. It’s something you notice slowly, the kind of movement that happens beneath awareness before it fully reveals itself. It sits in that in-between place. Not fully broken, not fully whole. Just becoming.
