We will be open February 21st from 8am-12pm!

Book an appointment to see a student team and licensed ophthalmologist! If you need reading glasses, we will be able to provide non-prescription glasses at the time of your appointment. If you have a current prescription from an optometrist, we will can ship the prescription glasses to your home.

Mollie Wheat Memorial Clinic will be holding Women's specialty day on January 10th, 2026! This is a little earlier than previous years, so we wanted to give an early heads up to allow for everyone to prepare for their annual screenings. Join us Saturday for Gynecology/Women's Health day. 💟🩺

Many free services will be offered including lab work, cervical cancer screenings, STI testing, breast exams, mammogram referrals, and more. We will be open from 8am-12pm.

Best wishes to Dr. Duong as he’s off to his next great adventure!

Today, Taihung “Peter” Duong, PhD heads off onto his next adventure: retirement. Dr. Duong has been with the Terre Haute campus as a professor and researcher since 1991 and served as campus Dean and Director since 2008. Dr. Duong has made a difference in the lives of so many medical students and his impact on healthcare in rural Indiana will be felt for generations to come. Dr. Duong: congratulations on your retirement. It is well deserved. We will all miss you tremendously.

On Tuesday WCI-AHEC hosted Occupational Therapy students from Indiana State University for Rural Health Education Day. Partners with AgrAbility and LifeLyfts by Life Essentials came to share about the numerous assistive technologies and resources they offer to clients looking to maintain a farming/agricultural lifestyle following an injury or other mobility challenge. Local farmer, and veteran, Sgt Matthew Harvey, spoke about how many of these tools have enabled him to do what he loves and maintain a sense of independence.
