NAMI Vigo County

NAMI Vigo County If mental illness affects you or your family. You can find support and education through the NAMI Wabash Valley Support Group.

We meet the 1st Thursday of each month 6:30pm-8pm. Due to COVID we are currently only having ZOOM Support Group Meetings. Nami Vigo County is an extension of the NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI advocates for access to services, treatment, supports and research and is steadfast in its commitment to raising awareness and building a community of hope for all those in need.

This is so true! Those with mental health problems are where the money mostly goes. Those with a mental illness are still mostly overlooked! That is a travesty! Most people do not even understand mental health issues and a mental illness.
