Guess who's back? Back again!
Hello there, Mercury Rx, you mischievous and often-misunderstood transit!
From Sept 9- October 2, we have the third Mercury Rx of 2022... and here's what you need 2 know:
Mercury will be retrograde in the sign of the scales, Libra, affecting our relationships and money from September 9 to September 23 and then in the sign of the Boss Witch, Virgo, affecting our health, routines and business from September 23 to October 2.
🪐 wtf is mercury retro anyway?
Mercury Retrograde is an astrological phenomenon when the planet Mercury appears to be going backward- but that’s just an optical illusion. It’s just because Mercury is the fastest planet so, once in a while, it catches up with us and appears to be in a backspin.
It happens 4 times a year and each retrograde cycle lasts 4 weeks. The good news is it isn’t random and we don’t need to catastrophize it! Like anything that happens in nature, there is a rhythm and reason to it… and when we are prepared, we will be rewarded. Think about the seasons- if you went to the beach in a snowsuit or out in a blizzard in a bikini you wouldn’t be enjoying yourself right? Same thing applies to astrological weather!
Mercury is the planet associated with communication, thoughts, travel, technology and the processing of information so, of course, when it goes retrograde things can get a little spicy. We're def going to want to do all the things in this vid PLUS
✨ double and triple check our travel itineraries
✨ give ourselves plenty of margins of time in our schedule
✨ work on conscious, clear communications
✨ back up our data
✨ practice patience
Words like pandemonium and mayhem are thrown about while Mercury travels retrograde. But that's a little dramatic. Tbh, Mercury retrograde can certainly feel wild at times; however, you know we weirdly LOVE and embrace Mercury Retrograde. We see it as a necessary time for re-calibration and reflection. We move SO fast. It's actually a gift to have the chance 3-4 times a year to slow down, close out any open threads or get a cosmic do-over.
