SPIRITUAL WARFARE – BASIC TIPS AND TECHNIQUES
Preface: It is important to realize that we Christians are in a war with the enemy: satan, his demons and the
people who partner with them – warlocks, witches and other ilk. As the Scripture says, the devil is an
irreconcilable enemy, a liar, murderer (John 8:24) and thief seeking to devour us and those we love (I Peter 5:8).
So, there can be no negotiating with them and we must regard this as a fight to the finish, even to death. While
the enemy will eagerly use anything they can to harm us and only the Lord’s protection prevents them from
having their way, we are under the constraint to work within the bounds and with the means our Heavenly
Father has ordained. To adopt the enemy’s methods is to align with them and their evil purposes and cut
ourselves off from the far more excellent resources of what the Lord provides.
Ideally, to be the most effective and best protected we need to be 100% devoted to our relationship with Christ.
However, few of us are monks or nuns that can exercise the total devotion and disciplined lifestyle like Nicolas
Herman (Brother Lawrence) did. We are engaged in our education, career, family, etc. While we are working
towards that, below are some simple and useful tools and techniques that provide effective, immediate or
relatively quick results that buy us time and relief while we sort out our priorities learn the Way and develop our
relationship with our loving Creator.
Divine Protective Order
In the story of Esther (Esther 5:1-14) we read about how king Artaxerxes made a decree that no one could approach him without an express invitation under penalty of death. If someone approached him without
permission, the king had the option of extending his golden scepter and granting the petitioner life and an
audience, otherwise his bodyguard would immediately arrest the offender and promptly execute them. As
believers, we are also kings and priests (Revelation 1:6) and can make such a decree, at least regarding spiritual
matters. That is, no demon or (disembodied, i.e. astral projecting) warlock or witch can enter our presence
without permission, or they are also subject to being condemned and cast into hell for an eternity of torment.
Below is a sample decree we can make. It involves permission from our Heavenly Father as well as our own
because we are fallible and might be deceived or seduce by the enemy into granting permission unwisely.
However, our Heavenly Father cannot be compromised by the enemy. So, we trust Him to guard us perfectly and
not agree with any wrong decision we make in this regard.
“I [insert your name], as King, Priest (Revelation 1:6) and Judge (I Corinthians 2:15)1
, seated in Christ at the right
hand of Almighty God (Romans 6:4, Ephesians 2:6), decree that neither unclean spirt nor any practitioner of
witchcraft nor other practitioner of any other forms of idolatry, may enter my domain or my presence without
the express permission of myself AND my Heavenly Father. If such permission is granted, they can only say and
do what we command them to say and do. That permission expires as soon as we revoke it or sunset that day,
whichever comes sooner. If any unclean spirit or servant of satan does enter my domain or enters my presence
without our express permission, they will be immediately arrested by the angels of the Lord, bound (Matthew
18:18-20), crushed (Luke 10:19) and cast into the most horrific pit of the abyss, effective immediately and
eternally without possibility of appeal, commutation, pardon, reprieve or parole (Revelation 20:10). Let this
decree be signed in my name and the Most High Trinity, effective this date [enter date].”
A violation of this decree is considered royal offense and trespass. In the story of the serpent in the Garden of
Eden (Genesis 3:1-24) we see that the serpent was also guilty of two other grievous sins: temptation (telling Eve
that eating the forbidden fruit was desirable) and slander (calling God a liar). There is no grace for demons, so once charged before God they will be condemned and punished without exception.

Then, when we sense or discern2
a demon or disembodied warlock or witch in our proximity, we can make these
declarations:
“Demon, you are guilty of royal offense and trespass, (and if appropriate) temptation and slander. I command
that you be bound, crushed and cast into the most horrific pit of the Abyss effective immediately and eternally
without possibility of appeal, reprieve, commutation, pardon or parole. I release the power and angels of the
Living God to arrest you and bring you before the judgment throne of the Lord for condemnation.”
We have no love nor need for demons. They hate us and are adamantly committed to destroy and devour us and
all we love. So they must be immediately and expeditiously disposed of whenever we encounter them and
demons should not be allowed to go free to continue their evil works against us or anyone else.
We deal slightly differently with warlocks and witches because they are still descendants of Adam with divinely created eternal souls and we want to allow opportunity for them to repent and be saved by grace too (a distinct
possibility when they experience the far superior power of Christ relative satan). So, we initially spare them death
and damnation; but make it certain that if they try attacking us a second time there with not be a third attempt.
“Warlock and/or witch, you are guilty of royal offense and trespass for which the penalty is death and
damnation (Exodus 22:18). Repent of your folly, renounce the devil and make Jesus Christ your Savior and Lord
so that you may not perish. If you ever return again into my presence or my domain or approach anyone or any
creature that is mine, your silver cord will be immediately, severed and you will die and suffer damnation
without appeal, parole, pardon, commutation or reprieve. You must leave my presence by the short count of
three or your silver cord will be immediately severed by the Sword of the Word of God that divides soul and
spirit (Hebrews 4:12). [Count quickly to three] I seal this in authority and power of the Name and Blood of Jesus
Christ.”
Another General Injunction Against Witchcraft.
I declare by the scriptures that cannot be refuted or broken (John 10:35), that no spell can be enforced against
me or mine, and the enemy is forbidden to spy on me and mine per Numbers 23:23. No curse can be enforced
on me or mine because we are under the Blood of Jesus Christ. All that is mine is sanctified (I Corinthians 7:14)
and Christ bore all curses for me on the Cross of Calvary (Galatians 3:13). Any spell or curse sent against me is
null and void, and every demonic assignment is cancelled by my authority, seated with Christ (Ephesians 2:6) at
the right hand of God. Any spell, curse or demonic assignment directed at me or mine is sent back to the
originator (Proverbs 26:2) and applied to them in full and without delay. (Luke 6:31 and Matthew 7:12).
Healing Scriptures:
If someone qualified declared healing for you by the wounds of Christ and it did not manifest, or only partially
manifested, then some warfare to finish the work remains for you to do. As Christ did during His temptation by
the devil in the wilderness, this is a truth encounter (not a power encounter) where lies are refuted with truth in
the Scriptures. It may be enough to declare the following scriptures daily until the full healing manifests:
“And great crowds came to him, bringing with them the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute, and many others,
and they put them at his feet, and he healed them, so that the crowd wondered, when they saw the mute

speaking, the crippled healthy, the lame walking, and the blind seeing. And they glorified the God of Israel.”
Matthew 15:30. 31
THE LIE: “God does not want you to be healed.” Vs. THE TRUTH: “The Lord wants everyone to be healed and
delivered now, completely and for their healing to last.”
"That evening they brought to him many who were oppressed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word
and healed all who were sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: 'He took our illnesses and
bore our diseases.'" Matthew 8:16, 17 ESV
THE LIE: “You need to do something to be worthy of healing.” Vs. THE TRUTH: “It is a free gift, paid for by the
wounds of Christ, you do not deserve and cannot buy it or earn it.”
“But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that
brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5 ESV
“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds
you have been healed.” I Peter 2:24 ESV
THE LIE: “God is teaching you something through illness.” Vs. THE TRUTH: “Holy Spirit is our teacher and illness is
not His way of instruction.”
We are taught by Christians, “And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers,
then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues.” I Corinthians 12:28
ESV
We are taught by Holy Spirit: “But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need
that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as
it has taught you, abide in him.” I John 2:27 ESV
Nowhere in the scriptures does it plainly say sickness is imposed by God to teach us a lesson. Sickness, trauma
and death are the natural consequence of sin. The Scriptures plainly teach us what we need to know about
righteousness and sin. When we learn about and deal with sin, sickness must go and healing must come!
THE LIE: “You need to be a Christian to be healed.” Vs. THE TRUTH: None of those healed by were
Christians (it was all before His resurrection), and it is a sign to give the Father glory!
“Jesus answered, ‘It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in
him.” John 9:3 ESV
“For the man on whom this sign of healing was performed was more than forty years old.” Acts 4:22 ESV
“Now many signs and wonders were regularly done among the people by the hands of the apostles. And they
were all together in Solomon's Portico.” Acts 5:12 ESV
“Thus tongues are a sign not for believers but for unbelievers, while prophecy is a sign not for unbelievers but for
believers” I Corinthians 14:22 ESV
Other Scripture on healing:
“And he cried to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a log, and he threw it into the water, and the water became
sweet. There the LORD made for them a statute and a rule, and there he tested them, saying, ‘If you will diligently
listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments
and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, your
healer.’” Exodus 15:25, 36 ESV
“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits,
who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.” Psalm 103:25 ESV
Keeping Your Healing and Deliverance
In general it is good to confess our sins daily to prevent giving the enemy legal rights to oppress us (Acts 10:38).
The best practice is to avoid sin. With that in mind, below are the Three Great Commandments and the Four
Great Prohibitions (Basically Do’s and Don’ts). All the other “rules for life” should be possible to derive from
these. (Matthew 22:37-40)

THE FOUR PROHIBITIONS
Acts 15:20,29 & 21:25
Eating meat sacrificed to
idols
This is tempered by Christ’s teachings in Matthew 15:17 and Mark 7:19, and the
Apostle Paul’s writings in I Corinthians Ch. 8,
Sexual immorality I.e. fornication, onanism (ma********on or coitus interruptus), adultery, in**st,
pe******ia, be******ty and concubitus daemonis (sexual in*******se with demons)
Eating meat from animals
that have been strangled.
Meat must be from animals slaughtered by letting out their blood, and not killed
by strangulation or ritual slaughter in religious rites contrary to the Faith.
Eating blood Do not eat blood, blood products or food where blood is a significant component.
Eating myoglobin (an oxygen transporting protein found in muscles) not a
violation of this because it is not “blood” but a subunit of blood. Receiving a blood
transfusion is acceptable if the blood product is cleansed by prayer. (The intent of
this prohibition is to avoid demonization by blood obtained from a demonized
animal or person.)
The next step would be to undergo a thorough deliverance ministry to remove curses, break soul ties and cast out demons.
