I’m excited to share that I’ll be returning to birth work as a doula this year 🤍

I am a doula who serves one family a month, because birth deserves presence, not pressure.
As a mother of eight and a teacher to many, loving, supporting, and advocating comes naturally to me.
Birth is beautiful, intense, sacred, and sometimes scary—and I am deeply passionate about standing beside women through it all, reminding them of their strength and worth.

This baby is a dream. Mom was an amazing, dad too..

What I love about birth photography is being able to capturing all the baby's first.

The first time baby meets his/ her parents, grandparents,
The cutting of the cord,

I love being able to capture all the first while the parents can just enjoy.

some people love the photos of the baby actually coming into the world, some just want right after. I’ve done both.

I am able and willing to do which ever.

Birth is truly a magical, spiritual journey.

its been forever since I have attended a birth as a doula or birth photographer. I have decided to go back to teaching this year. I am still doing my fresh 48 and newborn sessions. but being a birth doula and birth photographer will be on pause until further notice. Here are some cute pictures of my grandson I was able to take this past week when he was about 2 hours old getting all checked out by the nurse.

People often ask what my favorite thing to photograph is and I always say BIRTHS! being a birth giver 8 times and not having the full support of my husband that I wish I had, I would have only DREAMED of being able to afford a doula for support!
I think that’s one reason I’m always offering to do them at a discounted price, because it’s not work for me! I seriously have Joy helping and working with other birthing women. And documenting the birth is such a gift! It’s absolutely beautiful in its craziness.

Because I also love and treasure doing newborn photos I only book 1 birth ever 3 weeks using your EDD.
I have experience in home births, birth centers and tons of hospital.
