✨ Shedding New Light on Fascia’s Pathways and Membranes ✨
I recently had the privilege of attending a fascia-focused dissection course called “Shedding New Light on Fascia’s Pathways and Membranes” at King’s College London. The experience was guided by an incredible faculty — clinical anatomist John Sharkey, MSc, Dr. Joanne Avison, Mark Flannigan, BSc, and Dr. Wilbour Kelsick — alongside about 30 curious and dedicated practitioners from around the world.
This was, without question, one of the most profound learning experiences of my life. To honor the person who so generously donated her body to science is beyond words — her gift allowed me to see, in real human form, how fascia weaves us together. It showed me how the ways we move (and sometimes hold ourselves) shape the very architecture of our being over a lifetime.
As a practitioner, I’ve always believed the body is not a sum of separate parts but a continuous, living fabric that folds, spirals, and connects everything. This experience deepened that knowing in a way that will stay with me forever — and it helps me better serve my clients. When I work with your fascia, I hold a deeper respect for how everything is connected and how profound your body’s capacity for healing truly is.
If you’d like to know more about how fascia plays a role in your own well-being, I’d love to share. I’m so grateful to continue this journey, learning and growing alongside each of you. 🌿✨
