This is the foundation of everything I do as your doula.
In a world that tells you birth needs to be managed, controlled, and fear-driven, I'm here to remind you: your body was created for this.
When we plan for an intuitive birth together, we're not ignoring medical care or pretending challenges don't exist. We're creating space for you to listen—to your body, to your baby, to that deep inner knowing that gets drowned out by everyone else's opinions and fears.
In our prenatal sessions, we talk about what an intuitive birth looks like for you. We explore:

How to recognize and trust your body's signals during labor
Techniques to quiet the external noise and turn inward
Ways to work with your contractions instead of against them
How to communicate your needs and advocate for the birth you deserve

My role isn't to tell you what to do. It's to hold space for you to discover what feels right. To remind you of your strength when doubt creeps in. To help you slow down and breathe when everything feels rushed. To support you in trusting the wisdom that's already inside you.
Because here's what I know after walking alongside so many birthing families: when you feel safe, supported, and trusted, your body does exactly what it was designed to do.

💡 DIM THE LIGHTS. TURN UP THE OXYTOCIN. 💡

When you’re in laborland, your body needs darkness to feel safe.

Low lighting = more oxytocin (bringing stronger contractions, dilation, pain relief, and bonding 🤍)

Bright lights can trigger stress hormones that slow labor down.

Save this for your birth plan 🤍

Dim lights tell your body: you’re safe… keep going.

✨ Tip: Ask for lights dimmed wherever you’re laboring, bring battery candles, or use warm lighting.

Birth isn’t a performance.
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is turn the lights down.

Cheers to all the mamas who had babies in 2025!
I pray this next year brings you so many memories you'll cherish, strength for the hard days, and grace for every season of motherhood.

And for the women still waiting, longing, grieving or hoping, you are seen and held too.

As this year comes to a close, I just want to pause and say thank you.
If you supported my business this year in any way; by booking a service, referring a friend, sharing my name, liking a post, or sending an encouraging message, please know it truly mattered and made this year amazing in so many ways.

I am deeply grateful to God, who continues to guide my steps, open doors I could never open on my own, and surprise me in ways I never could have imagined. I’m also endlessly thankful for my family, whose love, sacrifice, and constant support allow me to pour into the families I serve.

I’m also incredibly thankful for the relationships I’ve built with fellow birth workers in our community; doulas, midwives, lactation consultants, and providers who pour their hearts into this work. Your collaboration, encouragement, and shared passion have meant more to me than you know.

Being voted Houston’s Best Doula this year was something I truly didn’t see coming. It was an unexpected, humbling honor and one I don’t take lightly. This award belongs to every family who trusted me during such a sacred season of life. Thank you for letting me walk alongside you.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in this work, this calling, and this mission. I’m so excited for what’s ahead in 2026!!! 🤍✨

Last night I was incredibly honored to receive The Best Doula in The Houston Best 2025 awards.

I’m still processing it, and my heart is so full and I feel undeserving of such an honor to be recognized among this community.

Moving to Texas and starting fresh with my business was a leap of faith, one rooted in trust, prayer, and a deep belief that this was where I was meant to serve. This journey has stretched me, humbled me, and reminded me daily that when you walk in purpose, God meets you there.

This work is never done alone though.
My husband and family, thank you for loving me through the long hours, the missed moments, the last-minute calls, and the flexibility this work requires. Thank you for holding down the fort when I can’t be present, for cheering me on even when it’s hard, and for believing in this calling just as deeply as I do. I could not do this without you.

To my clients, thank you for trusting me during some of the most vulnerable, powerful moments of your lives. Allowing me into your birth space is something I never take lightly. Your trust, your stories, and your strength are the reason I do this work.

And to this community, fellow birth workers , supporters, friends, and every person who has shared my name, sent encouragement, or believed in what I’m building… thank you!!! This award belongs to all of us!!

I am deeply grateful, incredibly honored, and more committed than ever to serving families with compassion, advocacy, and heart 🤍

Your baby actually helps push during labor.
Those tiny legs and instinctive movements create pressure that works with your contractions.

With every wave, your uterus is doing powerful, coordinated work, tightening from the top down to guide your baby lower with steady, purposeful pressure.

Your body is leading the process, but you’re not doing it alone. Your baby is your smallest teammate, rotating, pressing, and finding their way through the pelvis right alongside you.

Birth is a partnership from the very beginning and a beautiful and powerful experience, nonetheless.

What a fun week!!!

I was nominated for Best in Birth for Birth Doula services, which highlights the best birth professionals in the Houston area!

I’m so grateful for the families I have gotten to walk with, the friends and family who support and believe in me and for the way God has opened doors in this work.

I had the opportunity to share a little of my story with VoyageHouston and be featured this last week on their platform. I’m so thankful, honored and humbled for a platform that highlights everyday people making a difference and for whomever nominated me for the interview. This work has always been about supporting families, educating, and empowering them in the birth space. God has guided every step of this journey, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to share how He’s used this work to serve families. Thank you to every family who has trusted me, your stories are what make mine possible!!!

All glory to Him!

Between contractions, your job is to rest.
Close your eyes.
Breathe and let your body soften.
Take a sip of water.
Change positions, and let go of tension.

These pauses are your recovery time and they help your body build up strength for the next wave.

Labor isn’t constant effort, it’s a rhythm.

The contractions are the waves 🌊
The pauses are your peace.

Your body is already rehearsing for birth.
Use every Braxton Hicks as a reminder to rest, breathe, and trust the process. 🤍
