💙 Celebrating National Home Care & Hospice Month 💜

Liberty Home Care and Hospice of Jacksonville and Morehead City came together for a Staff Giving celebration to honor our hardworking team. We enjoyed a delicious potluck lunch and shared gratitude for the dedication and compassion that define our care team.

As a token of appreciation, each team member received a rain poncho to wear while visiting patients on rainy days. Rain or shine, our patients always come first. ⛈️☀️

Liberty Home Care celebrated our physical therapists who support our patients across Mt. Airy, Thomasville and Stuart with a breakfast and a few thoughtful gifts. Each team member received a personalized cup as a small token of gratitude for all they do!

Liberty Hospice of Lumberton hosted a special Veterans Day chili lunch filled with good food and fellowship! All attending Veterans received military lapel pins and certificates of appreciation.

A special thank-you to Paul Brown Military Academy Cadet and Liberty Hospice Volunteer Gracie Jones who helped us deliver meals and military lapel pins to our Veteran patients throughout the community. 💜

Liberty Hospice had the privilege of hosting a heartfelt Veterans Day celebration for the Veterans and families at Woodlands Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

We were honored to welcome several distinguished guests, including Diane Wheatley NC House District 43, NC Senator Val Applewhite - District 19 Government, the Stewardship Classic Car and Truck Club and Jr. Miss Poultry Jubilee Ryanne Squibb.

We were especially proud to celebrate hospice patient Lt. Col. William “Steve” Bodner and his wife, Col. Diana Bodner, for their respective 37 and 29 years of dedicated service to our nation.

Thank you to all who served. We honor you today and every day.

Liberty Hospice was thrilled to be part of the Piedmont Area Falls-Free Expo in Winston-Salem!

Community Outreach Representative Katie Oliver and Liaison Shania Junious enjoyed connecting with attendees and sharing valuable information about our services. Katie also led a 30-minute Chair Yoga and Fall Prevention Exercise class with over 70 participants joining in! 👏

We love opportunities like this to promote health, safety and wellness in the community we serve. 💜

💜 Honoring Loved Ones 💜

Liberty Hospice of Lumberton's annual Memorial Service was a heartfelt and beautiful tribute that celebrated the lives of those we have lost. Although they may be gone, they will forever hold a place in our hearts.

Families and staff shared cherished stories, laughter and tears. This type of a fellowship is a reminder that no one is ever alone in their grief journey.

A special thank you to Carla Monds, Ms. Indigenous of NC, who performed Amazing Grace, the Robeson County Honor Guard for paying tribute to our Veterans, Sasha Fulmer who designed a delicious charcuterie board and to the Lumbee Tribe Community Center for hosting this memorable event. 💜

Liberty Hospice of Wendell had the privilege of celebrating Army Veteran James Langley during a special ceremony at Zebulon House. Mr. Langley proudly served our country as a Master Sergeant, spending much of his military career at a hospital in Germany. It was an honor to recognize his service and dedication.
