For everyone that was planning on coming to the Christmas parade and down town stroll. It has been moved to Sunday due to the weather forecast. Abby and I will be set up in the downtown stroll . Come for a visit and say hi, maybe do some holiday shopping.See a great parade and come learn about the awesome Selma Renaissance Faire in March and April 2026 it's a win win !

🎄 IMPORTANT CHRISTMAS EVENT UPDATE 🎄

After closely monitoring the forecast, and out of concern for the safety of our parade entries, vendors, volunteers, and attendees, a decision was made in partnership with the City and the Chamber to adjust the schedule for our Christmas Parade & Downtown Stroll.

Due to the increased chance of bad weather on Saturday, December 6, the Christmas Parade & Downtown Stroll will now take place on Sunday, December 7th, from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

We want everyone to know that this decision was not made lightly. With so many moving parts—parade participants, attractions, vendors, setup crews, safety teams, and families—we truly believe this adjustment is the best and safest option for everyone involved. We sincerely appreciate the positivity, patience, and understanding from our community as this was a difficult call to make.

🚧 Street Closures & Setup Information
To ensure a smooth and safe event, Parade Line-Up and Vendor Setup must be completed by 2:00 PM. Streets will close at 2:15 PM sharp — no exceptions.

Thank you for working with us to keep everything running safely and efficiently.

Please help us spread the word, and we look forward to celebrating with you on Sunday, December 7 from 3–6 PM for a magical afternoon downtown! 🎅✨
