1. How'd you find Rebel + How has it made an impact in your life?
Last year, I set a few little intentions: try something new, keep challenging myself, and maybe, just maybe, rediscover a bit of my joy.
I had no idea that by joining Rebel (and saying yes to a fresh start), I’d find all three wrapped up in one incredible, heart-filling experience!
As an empty-nester living in Heritage Hills and still a yoga newbie, I truly can’t overstate what a gift Rebel has been.
Sure, I’ve grown stronger physically (which feels amazing), but even more than that, it’s lifted and nurtured my mental and spiritual well-being…and that’s the real magic.
From the second you walk through the doors, you can feel it, that warm, welcoming, uplifting energy where everyone belongs. No matter your day, your age, your experience, or your ability - you’re met with open arms and kind smiles. You’re not just showing up to a class…you’re stepping into a community...
2. What is your favorite part of your yoga practice?
That one-hour slice of time that’s just for me. The moment I unroll my mat, the outside world fades away. It’s my time to breathe deeply, quiet my mind, appreciate my body, and just be. Honestly, it feels like a reset button every single time.
Let’s not forget the fun extras, the friendships that have blossomed, the cheerful hellos on the way in, and that happy, glowing, sweaty post-class feeling...that’s just the cherry on top!
Rebel - thank you for being such a bright, beautiful light here in Somers. This studio—and every single instructor—means more than words can truly capture.
