We’ve been conditioned to believe negative emotions mean something is wrong with us. But anger, sadness, and every other “negative” emotion is just a part of life. The remedy isn’t to repress emotions or deny they exist— it’s to allow them. To find simple ways to raise our emotional energy. Sometimes it’s through sitting in the sun hearing the birds chirp (great for our vagal tone), sometimes we just need a nap. Other times we need time in silent or a good cuddle. Emotions come and go. And we have the power to choose to make choices that allow those emotions to process and fade
