Geranium offers a fresh, floral, and herbal aroma that promotes emotional balance, while cedarwood provides a warm, woody, and grounding effect.

Its rejuvenating, detoxifying, and grounding properties align with the season’s themes of renewal and growth. The fresh floral and earthy notes complement spring’s atmosphere, while cedarwood’s warmth supports balance during seasonal transitions. Perfect for SPRING!!

A single massage can make your body feel relaxed for a day. But when massage becomes a monthly habit, your body slowly begins to change in ways most people never notice.

Regular massage improves blood circulation, helping oxygen and nutrients reach muscles more efficiently. Over time, this can reduce muscle tension, ease chronic pain, improve flexibility, and support faster recovery after physical strain. It also affects the nervous system by lowering the stress hormone cortisol while increasing serotonin and dopamine, the chemicals linked to calmness and emotional balance. Many people also experience better sleep, lower blood pressure, and fewer stress related headaches when massage is part of their routine.

Without massage, everyday stress and muscle tension tend to accumulate quietly in the body. Long hours of sitting, repetitive movement, and mental stress can tighten muscles, slow circulation, and keep the body in a constant low level stress response. Over time this may lead to stiffness, fatigue, poor sleep, and recurring aches that people often dismiss as normal parts of daily life. Research shows massage can help interrupt this cycle by relaxing muscles, calming the nervous system, and improving overall physical and mental well being.

In other words, the difference between monthly massage and none at all is not just comfort. It is whether your body regularly resets from stress or quietly carries it forward.

Everyone is starting to realize how important fascia is when it comes to training the body, but most people still underestimate how deeply it influences movement.

Hydrated fascia behaves very differently, down to the cellular level. Not only does it participate in bioelectric signaling, it also plays a major role in how much range of motion your body can access during exercise. When this tissue is loaded correctly, it becomes elastic and responsive. Your muscles coordinate better, your posture improves, and energy becomes more stable because your body isn’t fighting itself to move.

When this tissue loses its elasticity and structural organization, your body begins moving in ways that increase tension, stiffness, and joint stress in the wrong areas. This is when people start experiencing the movement degradation that eventually leads to pain. Hydration in the body isn’t just about drinking more water. It depends on restoring the mechanical conditions that allow fluid to move through your tissue with minimal friction.

The visual on the left is exactly what we help you overcome through our training. This is what you see in the transformations we help people achieve, where their bodies begin to look more viscoelastic and full.

If you want to improve your movement, you not only need to strengthen the muscles that are weak, you also need to build the mechanics that distribute tension efficiently throughout your fascial system. The quality of your movement determines the quality of your tissue.

It’s Muscle Monday! The lats are where we’re spending time this week and goodness, do these muscles do a lot! Not only do they help you with upper body movements and contribute to good posture, but they’re also key for stabilizing your trunk and supporting your ribs during deep breathing (or for when you cough or sneeze!).

🌟 Muscle of the Week: The Latissimus Dorsi 🌟
The lats, or latissimus dorsi, are large muscles in the back that help with arm movements like pulling and lifting. They’re engaged when you raise your arms or pull something toward you and they can play a major role in your respiratory function.

🧘‍♂️ Stretch to Try:
Overhead Side Stretch: Stand tall, reach both arms overhead, and gently lean to one side, feeling the stretch along your lats. Hold for 20-30 seconds on each side.

Lat tension is very common if you’ve just had a respiratory illness where you’ve spent a lot of time coughing or sneezing. It’s also common if you’re actively rowing or strength training using these muscles.

If you’re feeling tense in this area, book an appointment with Mobile Om to not only get relief, but to discuss some personalized stretches you can do for after care that can support this critical muscle group. Book online or call 570-780-5858: https://mobileom.pro/
