Are you fighting to heal or fighting to stay broken? I will never forget when I was in a therapy session, and my therapist challenged my depressive thought that told me that my entire day was completely ruined, despite there being hours left in the day I was complaining about.
I was ready to stop seeing my therapist for good because I felt invalidated by him, and when I finally got home and took a step back I realized that I was fighting to stay depressed by being committed to a thought that was not only untrue, but a thought that was hurting me.
Now I pose the question to you: Are you fighitng for your wellness or your illness?
