Summer applications for the Chickasaw Youth Clubs (C*C) are open!

C*C offers a safe space to learn and grow with after-school programs and school break activities. The program promotes character development and encourages leadership qualities in children by learning about nutrition, career development, health, life skills, art, sports, fitness and culturally relevant activities.

The C*C program is available to Chickasaw children and children of Chickasaw Nation employees ages 4-13.

A fun one for the kids ❤️

My goodness time gets away from us! We haven't even mentioned FREE COMIC BOOK DAY, and it's only 2 and a half weeks away!!

For those who follow the industry, it was touch and go for FCBD once Diamond Publications went bankrupt. It got so uncertain that Penguin Random House (Marvel distributor) decided to create their own day, called COMICS GIVEAWAY DAY. Fortunately Universal Distribution bought out Diamond, so FCBD was saved. (So if you see advertising for something called Comics Giveaway Day, now you know why.)

How does that affect you? Good news is, it doesn't. Lol! Both those days will be the same day as always- first Saturday in May, which is May 2nd this year. We will be giving out a BUNCH of free comics from both Marvel and DC (with some other companies thrown in) and will be having sales around the store. Stay tuned for more details!

Applications for kids camps are due tomorrow if you haven’t signed your kiddos up yet!

Upcoming deadline reminder! From STEM to language, arts, environmental learning and cultural connection, camps, clinics and academies offer something for every youth to learn and grow while participating in their favorite sports and cultural activities, or to discover a new passion.

Yall be sure to check out this event! They will have some great knowledge and people there 💚🌳 unfortunately for me I ended up having surgery this week and it’s knocked me down a little, but I will catch yall at the next event for sure!

Our Mission is to create a supportive, judgment-free community where mothers can connect, encourage one another, and grow together through every stage of motherhood.

Hello Rooted Mothers 🌳 💚 I know this may not be a concern for all mothers but it is definitely a concern for me and mine since I had gestational diabetes with my oldest. Come out to this event and stop by to support your locals and get all the knowledge needed for you and your littles!!
