We've had the privilege of witnessing remarkable individuals from our community make indelible marks at Heartbeat, inspiring families and generations to come with their compassion. The Oess Family exemplifies this spirit. The start of it all for the Oess Family, was Mary Ann, a devoted nurse and volunteer in our YFL program, whose boundless kindness and love left an enduring legacy. Her cherished Christmas sponsorship tradition, which endured for years, reflected her radiant spirit. After her passing, her husband Tom and their children selflessly carried forward her mission of love. As we mourn the recent loss of Tom Oess, we find solace knowing he is reunited with his sweetie, Mary Ann. The family's unwavering dedication to love and service will continue to inspire through their children and grandchildren, as they remain committed to the tradition of love and the extraordinary legacy of Tom and Mary Ann ❤️

Our hearts are deeply saddened to share the news of Marilyn’s passing. She has been an integral part of Heartbeat over her many years of involvement. She was key in bringing our current “Earn while you learn” program to fruition and her Legacy will continue to impact families in our community.
