🧪🚑Earlier this week, the Disaster Preparedness team supported a hands-on Hospital Emergency Response Training (HERT) at Magruder Hospital. 🧪🚑

These types of trainings are essential for strengthening emergency response readiness and ensuring teams feel confident and prepared to respond safely when it matters most.

A big shout out to the Magruder team for their engagement, teamwork, and commitment to preparedness. We’re grateful for the strong partnership and dedication to keeping staff and the community safe.

Our teams from HCNO, Pathways HUB, and Queens Village came together for a great all-staff training session!

A big thank you to Brie Hobbs
and Dwight Smith from AMADA Senior Care for sharing their knowledge and helping us better understand the resources available to support those we serve.

AMADA Senior Care provides in-home support for seniors, helping with everyday tasks, companionship, and navigating long-term care options.

Their services play a key role in helping individuals stay safe, independent, and supported at home. 💙

💪🏾 Strong communities are built when everyone feels supported, understood, and able to take care of their health and families.

Many of our neighbors contribute daily as caregivers, educators, healthcare professionals, innovators and essential workers, and their well-being strengthens all of us.

When we invest time, compassion, and collaboration into making care easier to navigate and more welcoming, we create healthier outcomes not just for individuals, but for entire communities. Small efforts, clear communications, cultural understanding, and trusted local support can make a meaningful difference.

Grateful for the community organizations, providers, and neighbors who continue to show up and help make care more accessible and inclusive for all. 🌟

HCNO Partner Organization, The Avalon Foundation is growing and looking for passionate leaders and volunteers to help kids and families succeed. They are seeking individuals to serve as Treasurer, Youth Director, and on Development, Events, Marketing, and Finance teams, along with youth, adult, and family volunteers.

Come learn more about The Avalon Foundation's impact and how you can help children and families affected by rare diseases and how you can get involved.

Being poor is a full-time job.

In major cities across Ohio, individuals in low-income neighborhoods are forced to navigate complex transit systems, often taking more than 90 minutes to reach their final destinations.

Inadequate transportation systems disproportionately impact low-income communities, making it more difficult for families to prioritize their health care.
