Yesterday the Health Council of Northwest Ohio and the Northwest Ohio Pathways HUB participated in Infant Vitality Advocacy Day, hosted by First Year Cleveland. Organizations from various Ohio counties met with lawmakers at the Statehouse to champion policies that will help Ohio babies and families thrive. We worked with State Rep. Michele Grim, State Rep. Erika D White, Ohio Senator Theresa Gavarone, and Ohio Senator Paula Hicks-Hudson.

With this year's focus on maternal mental health and economic stability, we advocate for every baby in Ohio to celebrate their first birthday. This is the third year for Infant Vitality Advocacy Day—and it continues to grow.

The Unity Conference is a dynamic, educational, and interactive gathering that brings together Community Health Workers (CHWs), allies, members, and partners from across the country. Together, we’ll celebrate the diversity, strength, and resilience of the CHW workforce.

📍 Location: Greater Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, OH

📅 Dates: July 30 – August 1, 2025

This opportunity is open to all CHWs in Northwest Ohio on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited, so we strongly encourage you to register as soon as possible.
