Gabriel's Gowns

Gabriel's Gowns Gabriel's Gowns are burial gowns for babies that never make it home. They are named after Sara & Shaun Hegarty's little boy Gabriel, who was born sleeping.

On May 8, 2013, Sara and Shaun Hegarty delivered their son, Gabriel, sleeping. They soon realized the pain of not only leaving the hospital empty handed, but having to make burial arrangements for their baby. They wanted to provide comfort for other families facing this nightmare, while honoring their son. Along with the March of Dimes of North West Ohio, they have created "Gabriel's Gowns". They are taking donated wedding dresses and making burial gowns out of them for other families with in the ProMedica and Mercy hospitals that deliver stillborn, preemie, or full term babies that never get to go home. Please help us spread the word. Also if you would like to donate your time to help make the dresses, please email Sara at Shegarty@marchofdimes.org If you would like to donate your wedding gown, you can at the March of Dimes offices located at 3450 W, Central Ave. Suite 352 in Toledo Ohio.
