✨ What IS a simmer pot? ✨
I get asked so often what the point of a simmer pot is and how to do it & it’s so simple to do.
A simmer pot can be made with any aromatic herbs , plants , and/or fruits. In other words, if it smells good, throw it in the pot! 🤩
Simmer pots are used for a multitude of reasons but a main one being to make your space smell good! Other reasons some may use simmer pots are for cultural practices - simmer pots date back to ancient Rome and Greece who used them to cleanse the air around them. Pagan traditions also use them to release any negative energy, setting good intentions, and bringing in a new season.

Thank you to everyone who supported and bought from Aura Apothecary and Craft today, I can’t wait to be back at the Sundance Market! 💚
I woke up so nervous about how it would go and it truly exceeded my expectations. Most of you who follow me know who I am outside the business, but those who don’t, I have a full time job, I’m in school full time, and I’m a mother. With that being said, I have taken every bit of extra time to turn this small business into a dream to a reality and to actually see people today that I’ve never met before shop and be excited about what I’m selling truly was a dream come true. For my very first market/in person selling experience, it couldn’t have been better and I couldn’t be more thankful. I’m going to sleep grateful, humbled, and feeling like happiest lil lady🥹🫶🏼✨🌿
