One of the most beautiful things about newborns is that they aren’t wired for schedules yet.

They’re wired for connection, nourishment, and regulation through their caregivers.

Feeding on demand, responding to cues, and staying close helps babies organize their nervous systems and helps breastfeeding get established.

As a Nurse Practitioner and IBCLC with over 7 years of lactation experience and nearly a decade of caring for mothers and babies, I bring both professional knowledge and real-life insight. I’m a mom, too—currently in the thick of newborn life, breastfeeding, and juggling it all.
