May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we're using it to share some statistics that don't get talked about enough.

🔹1 in 4 adults is affected by a mental health condition
🔹21.2 million U.S. adults have both a mental health condition and a substance use disorder
🔹Nearly 50% of those affected don't get the treatment they need (due to barriers like cost, stigma, and access)

The barriers that stop people from getting treatment are very real, but recovery is, too.

We were thrilled to be part of the Recovery Rocks Resource Fair at Stockton University this past Wednesday! 🎉

As part of National Collegiate Recovery Week 2026, our team, including Jacob (alumni), Courtney (Director of Business Development), and Victoria (Director of Operations), joined over 25 vendors at the Campus Center Grand Hall to share information on recovery, support, and community resources.

Events like this remind us why our work matters. Meeting students where they are, breaking down barriers to care, and showing up for our community is at the heart of everything we do at Quantum Behavioral Health!

Meet Courtney Milligan, our Director of Business Development:

With over eight years of experience in substance abuse and mental health treatment, Courtney brings a well-rounded clinical and operational perspective to business development. Her background includes direct care roles as a therapist and case manager, where she developed a strong understanding of client needs, treatment planning, and continuity of care.

Throughout her career, she has built strong relationships with referral sources, healthcare providers, and community partners, helping connect individuals to appropriate levels of care. Her clinical foundation allows her to communicate program value with authenticity while maintaining ethical, client-centered outreach.

Courtney is currently in the final stages of completing her CADC certification, demonstrating her continued commitment to the field and to delivering high-quality, evidence-based support. She is passionate about expanding access to treatment, improving patient outcomes, and supporting sustainable growth in behavioral health.

We’re grateful to have Courtney as part of Quantum Behavioral Health and appreciate the work she does every day. 💙
