There is a sacred sorrow that does not spring from a recent trial, but from the moment you finally find Sabbath rest long enough to hear the Holy Spirit whisper what was lost.
It is the grief for the years the "locusts have eaten" (Joel 2:25)—the seasons when you were not known, and the true identity God breathed into you was buried under the weight of the world. It is a mourning for the versions of yourself that merely survived by the flesh instead of thriving in the Spirit; for the altars you built to please others that could never hold the person God created you to be.
This grief does not arrive in a whirlwind or a fire; it comes in the "still, small voice" (1 Kings 19:12).
Be still, and know that He is God. Sit in His presence and allow Him to restore the years of your wandering. Reclaim the inheritance that was always yours as a child of the Most High. And in that holy silence, the Father whispers... "Redeemed. Beloved. Mine." ⚓️🦅🏹💚🙏🏻🙌🏻
