A little olive oil can go a long way.

A recent study looking at over 90,000 people found that consuming about half a tablespoon of olive oil per day was associated with a 28% lower risk of dementia-related death.

That does not mean olive oil is a magic bullet.

But it is another reminder that the fats you choose every day matter.

Healthy fats help support the brain, the heart, and the body’s natural inflammatory balance. That’s why we recommend choosing high-quality olive oil instead of processed seed oils, margarine, or low-quality cooking oils whenever possible.

And when it comes to olive oil, quality matters.

Look for olive oil that is fresh, pure, flavorful, and made without shortcuts.

Lunch + Snack check-in 🍽️

Today’s lunch kept it simple and balanced:Chicken, cheese, green beans, and iced tea. Clean protein, fiber, and fats to support steady energy. I’ll be honest—I was a little surprised my glucose stayed stable with the tea since it contains agave, but my body handled it well.

Snack time was 2 soft-baked almond flour bars (one of each flavor). Both gave me a low glycemic response, which made for a smooth, no-crash afternoon.

This is a great reminder:👉 You can enjoy convenient foods AND stay aligned with your goals👉 Testing and awareness > guessing
