Danielle is the definition of perseverance. She developed severe back spasms and sciatica a few years ago and wasn't able to keep up with her active son. Overcoming fear after an injury or surgery can be difficult but your mindset is just as important as your fitness when it comes to your well-being.

In this video I talked about how a client of mine, who in 6 months, went from not being able to lift more than 35 pounds to lifting 145 pounds.

Of course this is still a case-to-case basis and it is best to work with a professional but this story just goes to show that you can still improve your quality of life even if you take baby steps.

Is your pain coming from muscle spasms or muscle cramps? Then you need to watch this video.

Muscle spasms often occur as a result of stress, exercise, or dehydration.

With the right treatment, you can reduce the severity and duration of muscle spasms or muscle cramps.

If you are feeling pain doing push-ups, clean and jerk, or other high-impact activities, here is a plyometric exercise that could help you absorb load.

Make sure that you do plyometric exercises gradually. Slowly increase the duration, difficulty, and intensity.

If you're having pain in your back at night, have lost weight fairly rapidly, have a history of cancer, and nothing you do makes it feel better, you should go get evaluated by your physician.

Cancer as a diagnosis with lower back pain is not terribly common, < 2%, however, it does happen.
