New Equipment Alert 🚨

We recently upgraded our hyper extension machine.

We added the Nautilus Nitro Lower back machine! 💥

Why is it great? 🤔

Designed to simulate the rotation around multiple vertebrae, this machine employs a four-bar linkage system that mimics the body’s natural axis of rotation, reducing sheer forces on the spine and ensuring user safety.

We’ve added a Life Fitness Tricep Press (Dip Machine). Our second joining our Body Masters Dip machine. 👏

Some info about the machine 🤓

Controlled and Natural Movement:
Features like the angled back pad and independent motion (in some models) ensure a stable and controlled path of movement, allowing users to focus on proper form and muscle engagement.

Adjustable and Versatile:
Many models offer adjustable features like seat height, handle positions, and grip options, allowing users to customize the machine to their body size and exercise preferences.

New Equipment Alert 🚨

And we’ve got another piece! 👏

The Life Fitness Biangular Seated Bicep Curl! This is a great addition to the gym, adding another dimension to your arm day at the gym. Another piece I’ve wanted to add for a while.

Why is this piece great?!? 🤔

This machines handles swivel and you can curl one arm at a time. Also your elbows are supported preventing swinging of the arm like you would naturally do when doing a seated bicep curl, unlike or other 3 bicep machines you cannot use your back to propel the weight up because your sitting up right and your back is supported focusing tension only on the biceps! 💪

New Equipment Alert 🚨

We’ve added a great glute building movement to the gym! 🍑

Here we have a Kneeling Cybex Glute Kickback machine. This machine goes along with/ our Body Masters Standing Glute Kickback. Another great addition to the gym! 👏

I used this piece at another gym a couple months back & have been on the lookout for one since.

Why is this piece great? 🤔

The Kneeling Cybex Glute Kickback provides (in my opinion) a much more comfortable base for the movement. Unlike the standing kickback there is no pressure being put on your waist line & it is much easier to perform single leg kickbacks because of the two separate platforms.

While the machine targets the glutes it specifically isolates the minimus muscle in your glute (lower muscle that gives separation between hamstring & glute). It’s a great movement to add to your glute routine in addition to your glute bridges which mainly works your Maximus (largest muscle in the glute). 👍

New Equipment Alert! 🚨

Another MONUMENTAL ADDITION! We now have the Nautilus Nitro Compound Row! 👏

You guys asked for back machines. We delivered. We have the 3 most affective row variants you can get. My back is thankful for it so ik yours is too! 🙏

Why is this piece great? 🤔

The Nautilus Nitro Compound Row allows for maximal stretch because the seat is elevated from the bars of the machine. The handles also swivel and the handles can be pushed in our out your delts can be isolated.

Another great addition w/ more coming this week! 💪

Results Are In! 🚨

The CT Post “Best Locally Owned Gym” voting is in. We are happy to announce we placed SECOND, something personally I’m very proud of. We’ve been open short of 4 years & to get such major recognition is humbling. Thank you to all BOF Fam who voted, support, & make this place a community. We are blessed and love you all! ❤️

Huge shoutout to our Torrington neighboring gym for winning the honor for a second year in a row! 🏆

This highlights a bigger topic to me. One this is a clear sign If your in NW CT and you aren’t going to a gym sign up now but two the importance of supporting local. Torrington has literally the two best locally owned gyms in the state. There is no reason to support a corporate gym. We care for every individual who comes in. as a young adult and child was an avenue for me to grow with my passion for lifting and assured me in being where i am today. So support local both of us truly appreciate every person who comes in! ❤️
