Yin and Yang chillin’ in their chair! Yin always sticks close to Yang and makes a lot of noise when Yang is too far away. Yang was born with 1 eye and a differently formed beak.

Our CENTER foster babies Yin and Yang enjoying some relaxing outside time. It’s exhausting being this cute!!!

With the winter chill, our horses and critters are being well taken care of. Snug as a bug in a rug!

The mission of The CENTER is to provide affordable therapeutic equine activities for individuals with special needs and at risk youth in Delaware and the surrounding area. The Center is committed to reducing barriers to participation in such activities. The CENTER at C-line Stables provides typical riding lessons for everyone. We also have camps throughout the summer and during school breaks.

It is with a very heavy heart that we say good bye to Jan Stern, our Auntie Jan. She was such a big part of The Center for so so many years. Even after she stopped teaching, she was still fundraising for us and helping us behind the scenes creating new programs. She got us extra funding to be able to fence in more area for the critters that is why it is called Jan-land. We will miss her. RIP Jan 💕

Our egg shells disappeared! The eggs were bigger and squishy. We all had fun playing with them. We did our chicken chores. Let the critters & cows out to the other field. We took a buggy tour of our Peakaboo farm and C-Line farm. We didn’t see anything exciting in the pond, so that was a lil sad 😢. We read a book and painted Flash to look like Goodwin the goat in our book. We gave Flash a bath and we all got a little wet too!

Our Litlle Farmers did our chicken chores. Farrier Gene was here so they learned about horses getting trims and shoes. We milked cows with gloves that they decorated and we filled with water to milk them. We then made cheese by shaking cream in jars. We all had some of our butter on crackers. Our vinegar eggs are losing their shells. The dark egg appears to be dissolving faster than the lighter egg. Everyone enjoyed playing with the critters before it was time to leave.

Today our Little Farmer’s did our morning chicken chores. We fed the chickens too. We collected 2 fresh eggs and put them in mason jars and covered them with vinegar. In 2 days the shell is supposed to disappear and just the membrane inside will be holding it together. We took a tour of our Peakaboo farm. We talked about our bat box and why bats are beneoto the farm. They toured and played in our new barn before going back to C-Line. We moved te cows to a new pasture. They had some free play in the indoor jumping jumps and running around. We read Sheep in a Jeep with Max.
