Scout Psychiatry

Elizabeth, CRNP, PHM-BC, RN, BFA, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, who thinks of herself as a “Scout," whose job it is to guide and illuminate the path of insight and understanding for her clients. With a background in fine art, Emergency, Camp & Hospice nursing, a passion for neurobiology, psychopharmacology, and 25 years of 12-step recovery experience, she uses

a multi-modal approach, getting quickly to the heart of the matter causing the body-mind distress. Her goal for her clients is to achieve short and long-term symptom relief from the causes of mental suffering and have increased ease, vitality, and agency in their lives. Her style is friendly and direct, and she believes that the best therapy is collaborative- even though it may be hard at times, should still be (somewhat) enjoyable, always invoking a spirit of discovery and finding humor and perspective whenever possible about our shared imperfection of being human. She is a PACT trained couples therapist (Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy)
