One of my favorite parts about Autumn is the preparing for a season of rest and deep healing. We harvest, prep, and begin to wind down as the days get shorter and the air gets crisper; without much effort at all, we all get our rest and some much needed healing over the winter months- if we use our time in Fall to our advantage and prep ourselves!

Through the twists and turns of life, I had to take a step back from the teaching that I love so much; but the Universe provides opportunities when we're open to them!
I recently met a young healer that was full of questions and excitement. After a long talk, she asked me to teach her how to safely work on others- both near and far. You are the most important altar in your practice.

Sacred space is first found in your soul.

Altars are spaces of offering, work, and appreciation; they can be big or small, but all serve the purpose of providing a home for your magic and dedication to the spirits that co-create with you.

This space typically is decorated, cleaned, and honored in various ways (depending on your personal practice). It is definitely a place held in high esteem for yourself and would never be a place to gather trash, be negative, or cold and distant.

The altar is safe; it's where we feel most connected and free.
You are the most important altar in your practice. Are you treating yourself that way?
