Trinity Security Allies

Trinity Security Allies Our ministry is the safety of your church and other faith-based organizations through education, training and networking churches together. Nehamiah 4 16-18

After implementing a safety team and providing basic saftety training to advanced active shooter training, other churches reached out for analysis and support implementing a safety team and procedures due to the increase of threats made against a church. Most small churches, which are generally a softer target do not have the financial means to pay for high priced conultants. In order to provide tools and resources along with support implementing a volunteer safety team, their was a need for Trinity Secuirty Allies. We provide services based on needs and not on the ability to pay in order to keep using biblical principals by using ushers, greeters as our first line of defense.

Cincinnati, OH Event:

This Church and Personal Safety Event, hosted by Corinthian Baptist Church in collaboration with Trinity Security Allies, is designed to provide essential church and personal safety for community churches. This is great for church leadership, volunteers and members.

Training Sessions:
The seminar includes four core modules focused on practical safety strategies:
• Why a Safety Team:
Grounded in scripture, such as Nehemiah 4:9, this module explores why churches need safety teams in today’s world. Participants learn the biblical basis for protecting the congregation, key components of a safety plan (e.g., risk assessments), and how to structure a team for effective response.
• Threat Profiling:
Churches attract worshippers, those seeking help, and potential threats disguised as attendees. This module teaches staff and safety teams to identify these groups using behavioral cues and observation techniques, ensuring a balance between vigilance and hospitality.
• Personal Safety:
This module empowers staff, especially children’s ministry leaders and teachers, to trust their intuition and the Holy Spirit when encountering uneasy situations. Participants learn to recognize warning signs and respond safely in one-on-one interactions.
• Church Shootings:
For churches with armed safety teams, this module is essential. Jim Howard, Executive Director of Trinity Security Allies, analyzes the December 29, 2019, shooting at West Freeway Church of Christ and the Lakewood Shooting in Houston, Texas that happened on February 11, 2024. We review these shootings and offer lessons on preparation and response.

We made it through Easter without a sleeper-cell attack on a church.

So do we relax?
Not a chance.

The next threat facing your church may not come from the outside, but from within.

Someone you’ve worshiped with.
Someone you’ve trusted.
Someone sitting in the pew next to you.

Join me tonight at 7:30 PM Eastern as we talk about what churches must be prepared for in 2026.

We are very excited about the response to tomorrow’s conference! Doors open at 7:30 AM.

As a final update, we currently have 11 seats remaining. During the event, you will learn why it is critical not to post photos of children from your ministry online.

Because this safety information is so vital, we want to encourage every organization to have at least one representative from their children's ministry present.

To help facilitate this, we are offering these final seats at a discounted rate of $25. We will CLOSE registration once the seats are filled. (Just mention in the area where you register additional people that you are with children's ministry.)

Every year, we ask ourselves how we can better serve you through our Church Safety and Liability Conference.

Over the past two years, we have seen a growing number of concerning incidents affecting houses of worship across the country. In response, God has blessed us with speakers from across the nation to address the real and evolving challenges churches are facing today.

With the increase in shootings, vandalism, and disruptions at places of worship—and with this year beginning with the disruption of church services in Minneapolis—we believe this conference is both timely and necessary.

This year’s conference is designed not only for church safety teams, but also for pastors, staff, and church leaders. The information being presented will help churches protect their congregations from physical disruptions while also addressing liability concerns that often follow these incidents.

Our speakers will provide practical guidance on how to recognize potential threats, reduce the likelihood of disruptions escalating, and respond wisely when situations arise. The principles and guidelines shared will give churches a clear framework—a practical “playbook”—to help protect their people, safeguard the ministry, and remain faithful to their mission.

Early Bird Registration $35/person ($45 with your spouse) until February 28th. Seats are filling up! Secure your spot today!

Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided. Doors open at 7:30
AM. Space is limited. Secure your spot today by clicking the image!

Grateful to our national partner, USCCA!

Read my latest blog, "Are you fighting spiritual battles with carnal weapons?"

I sometimes feel like I’m repeating myself. Why does so much church security focus center on spotting “the man in the trench coat on a hot day” instead of obeying the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16–20)?

For over fifteen years, I’ve worked in this field, continually urging that we act as ambassadors of Christ, protecting the flock while advancing God’s kingdom. Yet the louder voices push teams to become bouncers, security guards, or wannabe SWAT officers.

Choose Your Battles Wisely is a fast-paced, high-impact seminar designed for church security teams, ushers, and leaders who need to make calm, confident decisions in high-stress situations. Pulled from the Rapid Confidence Course, this training delivers real-world skills in reading people, de-escalating conflict, and making quick, clear-headed decisions under pressure.

You’ll learn how to use verbal defense to defuse tension, and apply smart decision-making strategies that help you respond—not react—when it matters most. If your mission is to protect your church without creating fear or confrontation, this session is essential.

Many churches have been contacting us about the incident at Cities Church in St. Paul. Our stance has always been the same. You need team members watching the outside perimeter for anyone approaching your church. If you see 30 to 40 people you have never seen before approaching your church, that is cause for concern, and you should start locking down your church before they can get in and create the disturbance they did at Cities Church. I am amazed at how many churches leave their outside areas unprotected. Since we can't build walls around most of our churches, you have to understand that you are the wall!

A great friend of mine, Jeffrey Kearnan, Owner of Kearnan Consulting Group, LLC, writes easy-to-follow guidelines on how you should handle a service disruption. Please give this to any of your church leaders to help them prepare for situations like what happened in Cities Church. https://kearnanconsulting.com/responding-worship-service-disruptions-a-practical-lawful-guide-churches/

We are excited to have Jeff speaking at our 9th Annual Church Safety and Liability Conference. For more information about our conference, click here. https://www.trinitysecurityallies.com/church-safety-conference.html

The events at Cities Church in St Paul, Minnesota, where a group of thirty to forty protesters entered a Sunday service and interrupted worship while chanting and confronting congregants, have raised important questions for church leaders nationwide.

Simon Osamoh, a good friend of mine and the founder of the Worship Security Academy, has asked me to share his Black Friday sale on his excellent training tool, Table Top Training Cards. These cards present a scenario that you can quiz your team on, encouraging them to think about incidents that could happen in your church and how they would respond. We use a similar approach in our "What If" training. Easy to use, and right now, he is offering a Black Friday discount. This is a great tool that all church safety teams should have in their arsenal.
