A common theme in therapy sessions this week- SHAME.

Shame whispers: “There’s something wrong with you.”
Unlike guilt, which says “I did something bad,” shame attacks our sense of worth. It isolates, silences, and convinces us we’re unlovable.

But here’s the truth:
Shame cannot survive empathy.
When we speak our shame in safe, compassionate spaces, it begins to loosen its grip.

Healing starts when we stop facing shame alone.

You are not broken. You are healing.

A survey by NAMI found 64% of individuals living with mental health conditions reported their symptoms worsened during the holidays. Pay attention to your feelings! It’s okay to feel unhappy! One year ago, Amanda and Savannah opened the doors of Rebuilding Resilience. We are so incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported us along the way. We have the most incredible clients and have poured our hearts into providing the best possible care to those we serve.
