I was lucky enough to be your teacher for most of your life 🥹 From toddler learning to talk, to communicating in sentences, to working on speech sounds……You were always SOOO excited to come to speech and worked your very hardest! Today was a bittersweet goodbye, as I know you are ready to move on in your speech journey. I was so lucky to have been a part of it!

This guy went from not yet communicating in words to speaking in full sentences in just one short year! I’m so grateful for your parents dedication and hard work with you! This here is the happiest kid you will ever meet. Let’s read a book: “Great, I love books”, let’s do a project: “I’ll get my glue”, let’s play a game: “That’s my favorite game!” 😆 Honestly, what a joy you were to work with! I feel so lucky to be a part of your speech journey! 💙🏎️🦖🎈🥳🎊❤️

Congratulations to the speech graduate 🧑‍🎓

This guy worked so hard this year learning all his words and sounds. Extra thank you to your parents and grandparents for all their hard work with you outside of therapy. That made all of the difference! I love seeing how confident you have become (especially when you sing loud and proud 🎶). And of course, since cow participated in every therapy session, he has to be in our picture too!

✨ Congratulations to the speech graduate 👨‍🎓

This kid is an SLP’s dream. He worked so hard on his sounds in each and every session, willing to take risks and try any strategy I was teaching him. Kiddo, you have come SO FAR!! I’m excited to see you go off on your next adventure (even though it was hard to say goodbye 🥹). I love you more than popsicles is what he said to me 🥰🤩🥳

Autism in girls (and AFAB) often presents in non-stereotypical ways which can make it difficult for them to access a diagnosis.

HOWEVER, it’s also super common for girls to have the *same* traits as boys and still go un-diagnosed because of how their actions are interpreted.

All genders can be Autistic and it’s important to look for *patterns of differences* which can range from subtle to clear ❤️♾️🌈
