Earlier this month, the Hammerheads were Finalist of 2025 Aptiv Division at Michigan State Championship! This is our 3rd consecutive year reaching Divisional Finals at MSC 🎉. Our drive team and robot, Tempest, performed exceptional well with a qualification record of 12-2-1 and rank 2. We were captains of alliance 2 and with our alliance partners and , we gave it our all! Thank you to our impact presenters, drive team, scouting team, and pit crew. We’re looking forward to competing in the Daly Division at FIRST World Championships!

Last Weekend at the FIM District Lake City Event, we had the opportunity to compete with 37 teams and we were ranked first going into playoffs. We made it to the playoffs with our alliance partners TC Titans and Lake City Ultrabots.

We were also honored to win the Team Sustainability Awards sponsored by Dow! Both our rookies and veterans had a great time watching and scouting matches. We look forward to competing next at Troy! 🦈💙

On Monday, the Hammerheads and ran MakerSpace4All at the Troy Center, sharing our love for STEAM with the community! From hands-on activities to interactive displays, we created a fun and engaging space for everyone to explore, learn, and create.

It was incredible to see so many people dive into STEAM and spark their curiosity. We love making STEAM accessible to all students, especially those who learn at their own pace.

Last December, we attended Moonbeams for Sweet Dreams, a beautiful tradition hosted by Corewell Health where the community shines flashlights to give kids in the hospital the holiday spirit they deserve.

Last Friday, we participated in Trunk-and-Treat, where our candy-shooting robot brought joy to many and created a memorable experience for all! We loved engaging and having fun with our community, and we hope that our robot will continue to inspire future generations of STEAM enthusiasts!
