Over 60 people🤯 What???

What started as a few gym friends wanting to get together to improve their nutrition…

Turned into more women looking for strategy, accountabiliy and community…

And evolved into 60+ women (and even a few men!) signing up to join the free Community Protein Challenge.

I am over the moon excited! 🌖

Yes, I origionally started down this path of functional nutrition because of my own health issues.

Desperate for answers, I had tried literally every diet from raw vegan to carnivore, and everything in between.

I was at my wit’s end, taking more supplements than actual food, clutching a stack of lab tests, and hearing my doctor say, “everything looks normal” – again.

I knew at that point, it was up to me to figure it out.

And I did 👏

But it turned into a much bigger dream than healing myself...

It became a dream to change the way we do healthcare.

Routine and regular lab data can provide the highest level of insight as to what's going on in your body. ⁣

But I can't tell you how many times I hear people share stories of coming back from the doctor and 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭...⁣

But the person felt anything but fine and normal. ⁣

This happened to me too! ⁣

Tired of being let down by mainstream health, I decided to get educated on how to interpret labs from a functional perspective. ⁣

And let me tell you, there are some real gems and key pieces of info that most practitioners are overlooking. ⁣

🤯 It's not uncommon to have 2-4 markers outside of "lab ranges", and then 10-20 outside of functional ranges.⁣

The beauty of functional ranges is that we can identify dysfunction and imbalances BEFORE it becomes pathology. ⁣

👆This is the difference between healthcare and disease care. ⁣

It's really an art to be able to look at labs, client intakes and understand what's going on in the body. '⁣

💊It's so much more than matching a pill to the ill (or marker). ⁣

I want to know WHY the body is dysfunctioning - b/c that's how we figure out what you need to return to a balanced, energized and well-functioning body. ⁣

A lack of routine is *not* what’s keeping you from reaching your goals.⁣

And that’s coming from a ta**us / projector who freaking loves systems and routines!⁣

Nearly everyone I work with starts out wishing they could just have some balance, and a routine they can stick to.⁣

This is essentially looking for a way to go on autopilot.⁣

Everyone has some systems and routines already in place.⁣

And they’ve stuck around b/c they work (in some shape or form).⁣

For example:
Some routines are blatantly positive (brushing your teeth). ⁣
⁣Some are not as easy to detect (procrastination).⁣

In fact these ^^ can be the things that frustrate you about yourself. ⁣

In order to create a routine that works for you, you need to find out what you actually WANT to create.⁣

Do you want to meditate?⁣
Do you want to raise your vibration?⁣
Do you want to join Orangetheory?⁣

Or…⁣

Are these things you think you're “supposed” to be doing?⁣
⁣Are these ways you feel “should” be?⁣

This ^^ right here, makes all the difference.⁣

When you get clear on your desires + some basic principles, it's much easier to create a routine that actually works for you.⁣

I know I have not always appreciated you, or loved you like you deserved.⁣

I know I didn't always listen to you when you whispered your deepest desires and secrets to me.⁣

Or even when you were shouting them from the rooftops.⁣

And despite our disagreements.⁣
My struggle to understand you.⁣
Or my lack of compassion, at times...⁣

You were always there for me.⁣
Protecting me.⁣

We All Have To Start Somewhere⁣

It took me almost 10 years to get into the splits.⁣

But when I first started I couldn’t touch my toes.⁣

I struggled to make it through a class without bending over from dizziness. Tweaking my body to get into postures (accounting for my bad back and crooked hips).⁣

I’d set up right next to the door so I could suck the cold air from the cracks (and pray someone would open it!).⁣

And I took long naps afterwards. ⁣

It was like this for a very long time.⁣

It took a lot of determination and patience to keep going back. Even when I couldn’t see the progress.⁣

Fast forward 10 years later…something clicked, and my body revealed the years of persistence.⁣

And I was rewarded with resiliencey and strength. ⁣

Sometimes change is small, and hard to see.⁣

But I know you can do it!⁣

So, if you’re working on your body and feeling frustrated, remember where you started. ⁣

Choose to be patient and kind with yourself.⁣

Start to shift your beliefs around what's possible.⁣

I like to see (well, more so hear) that my clients are pooping on the reg!⁣

Not only is it lightening your load, but it's also satisfying and energizing. (ever notice how a cat springs from it's litter box?) ⁣

Ok, besides that, here's why a good bowel movement is so important...⁣

It is absoulutly the first step to eliminating toxins from the body. ⁣

My goal is to make sure your colon, liver and gallbladder are functioning and supported before we start any protocol or detox.⁣

Now, most people come to me with tummy issues and thier BM's are less than stellar.⁣

So we work together to find out why, remove the barriers and support function. ⁣

You see, the body is a very balanced system which operates in a drip process (drainage funnel).⁣

And of course like with anything to do with the body...there’s a very particular order to things {SWIPE👉}. ⁣

Healthy, regular BM's are the first step!⁣

I am a huge advocate of 30-60 days of drainage work before diving into root causes. ⁣

Trust me, this piece is clutch!⁣

If so, then I don't need to tell you how infuriating it is to be dismissed, burned and let down by your doctor.⁣⁣

At one of my low points in my health (when my period went MIA for 6 months, I was puking every morning, and had massive hair loss... to name a few...)

My lovely doctor, who happened to be a Naturopath, straight up laughed at me when I told her I was worried about my thyroid. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
My Gyno told me to see a therapist b/c it was all in my head.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Um, no doc. It (my hair) is literally not in my head. It's in my socks, my bed and mysteriously found attached to my husband in places that just don't make sense. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I knew what I was experiencing was common ❌ but that doesn't mean it's normal ❌⁣⁣
⁣⁣
