For Lulu, A Season of Love, Loss and New Beginnings

Hi everyone,

This month’s letter is a little different, and a little heavier.
I am later than usual getting this out because I had to help my sweet girl, Lulu, cross the rainbow bridge. There are no perfect words for that kind of goodbye. She was not just a pet, she was family, comfort, presence, and love woven into my everyday life.

And of course, the parade of dogs I got to meet throughout the day felt like little winks from the universe.
