Obesity is a growing problem among our first responder patient population. Obesity has been linked to several negative outcomes such as increased injuries, lost work days, disability due to injury, cardiovascular disease, and sudden cardiac death.

First responders' positions require a certain level of physical fitness to safely perform their job functions.

We had a great time presenting to Border Patrol and their BORSTAR team talking about mental resilience, common medical conditions affecting our first responders, and how stress affects your nervous system.
