What does PEMF reactivity tell us?

It's a signal of an area that needs the energy the most!

Usually this means it's an area that is more inflammed or depleted. That area has been working harder than it needs to and is eager to soak up more PEMF than an area of healthy tissue and fascia.

I recently heard a story about another bodyworker smacking a horse for being "disrespectful" during a session...

😱

I wasn't there. So I don't know what really happened, but in my opinion a bodyworker should:

1. never punish someone else's horse and

2. never punish a horse for communicating... even when it looks like "disrespect"

Our role is to observe behavior, as it helps to tell the full story of what's going on under the skin.

Now, I'm not saying we should let horses push us around... our safety is important, too!

I've had to end sessions (especially in my current condition 🤰🏼) because of unsafe behavior... but I didn't leave those sessions thinking:

"Wow, that horse is such a dick"

I left them thinking:

"Ugh, I really wish I could've gained his trust today to get some work done. He really needs it."

As bodyworkers, understanding body language and communication is a key component to our success in our practice.
