Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy at Sabino gives residents a truly one-of-a-kind path to healing. Guided by our masters-level, EAGALA-certified equine therapist, residents engage in groundwork and horseback rides through the Sonoran Desert as part of their individualized treatment plan!

We are so excited to welcome Elissa Albaba to the Sabino Recovery team as our newest Clinical Outreach Representative!

Elissa started her career as a teacher, and after seeing the emotional barriers to learning and challenges within family systems, she found her calling in behavioral health.

What began as a short term position at a treatment center more than 15 years ago, has led her to a thriving career in the addiction and mental health treatment field. She is thrilled to join the team at Sabino, and passionately believes in the whole-person, somatic approach at Sabino and loves the focus on a strong aftercare plan.
