Happy World Yoga Day from Mini Moons!

Today we celebrate tiny stretches, big breaths, and all the beautiful ways our little yogis learn to slow down and shine. Yoga gives our kids space to wiggle, imagine, feel brave, and find their calm — all while having so much fun.

We’re so proud of these growing minds and happy hearts. Here’s to kindness, courage, and one tiny pose at a time.

Mini Moons had the BEST adventure with our 2nd grade yogis today

We rolled out our mats and took a big imagination journey up the mountain with Sarah during story time with Sarah’s Brave Adventure. We climbed, balanced, stretched tall, and even paused to take brave mountain breaths at the top!

The sweetest part? The kids shared their own brave moments — zip lining, jumping on a trampoline while coyotes howled at night etc. They practiced that same bravery in their poses, cheering each other on the whole way.

Big courage. Big smiles. Big Mini Moons magic.

💞 Valentine’s Partner Yoga — Kid Edition 💞

Grab your favorite little yogi (or sibling or friend!) and celebrate Valentine’s Day with playful partner yoga! These simple poses build teamwork, trust, and lots of giggles — no perfect balance required.

Try this mini flow:
🤝 Partner Mountain — stand back-to-back and feel each other’s support
🦋 Butterfly High-Five — sit facing each other and tap feet + hands
🌈 Double Stretch — hold hands and lean back gently
💗 Heart Breath — sit together, close eyes, and take 3 slow breaths

Partner yoga teaches kids how to communicate, cooperate, and share space — all while moving their bodies in a joyful way. Focus on laughter, kindness, and connection more than getting the pose “right.”

Valentine’s reminder: the best pose is the one that brings smiles. ✨

Rest is part of growing

We’re closing the month with Child’s Pose, a gentle reminder that rest matters too.

For kids, Child’s Pose helps:
• calm the nervous system
• create a sense of safety and comfort
• encourage slow, soothing breaths
• offer a reset when emotions feel big

Child’s Pose teaches kids that slowing down is just as important as being strong—and both help us feel our best.
