It was nice to put faces and names together
Impressed with how much the has influenced citizens of Tulsa. Quite a few of the attendees are competing in the
probably sold out of their Vegan Tacos they made specially for this. ❤️
This started as a small idea. We are pleased with the turnout and are already working on the next one!

Life has been busy.

We have been discussing a topic for the meetup event on 2/26 at Rabbit Hole Tulsa.

The idea is What Works? What Doesn’t?

With that being said we are thinking Food Prep and how we tend to allocate our time for exercise.

Bringing a note pad might be a good idea. Fill it with your questions and/or suggestions. It’ll be an open forum to share ideas and processes.

Looking forward to meeting fellow Tulsans that share the same passion for health and exercise centered around Vegan/Plant Based living.

During the meeting yesterday we discussed this topic
If you’re a regular at a gym you most likely experienced this feeling when you started out. Down the road we realize how to overcome it.
It’s something so heavy that it keeps many from starting their health journey
lays it nicely for how-to overcome Gym Anxiety.
I’ll be taking notes from this. I still get anxiety when I show up to a group ride. It’s near impossible for me to start conversation or even say hello. One step at a time.
Just keep showing up. You won’t regret it! 😃

Heard some sound advice over the weekend. It pertained to having a 100% attitude about decision making. When we don’t go 💯 into something we have to deal with Decision Fatigue. The back and forth of “Do I or Don’t I..”?
I did not want to put on all the layers to ride in 30 degree temps this morning. I wanted to sleep that extra 1.5 hours then drive to work in a warm car.
But I decided Saturday that I’m commuting as much as I can handle from here on out. It’s not going to be easy but it’ll always be an adventure. The ride although short (8.5 miles) was a good way to wake up. Honestly it wasn’t that cold either.
Point being. Glad I went for it.
It’s Monday. Let’s party.

A goal I’ve set for 2020 is to commute to work by bicycle rather than car. I’ve got a family of 5 at home so finding time to train can be tricky. Hoping the added time on the bike will result in significant gains.
Picked up a new-to-me bike a week ago
Taking it out today for a recon of the route I will take to work.
What are your top Commuting Tips? What is your top goal for 2020?
