Here are a few ways to help improve sleep and support a healthy mind:

🔸Create a Calming Environment: Dim the lights, reduce noise, and avoid screens before bed to signal it's time to unwind.

🔸Relax Before Bed: Try reading, soft music, or gentle stretches to ease into sleep.

🔸Watch Your Caffeine: Avoid caffeine in the evening, it can interfere with falling and staying asleep.

🔸 Be Aware of Sleep Apnea: This condition affects breathing during sleep and has been linked to increased dementia risk.

Good sleep helps the brain clear toxins, repair cells, and lock in new learning, making it a cornerstone of long-term cognitive health .

First signs of spring in Oklahoma are daffodils and bunnies.

And, some of our Zarrow Pointe ladies were excited to make 60 Spring bunny gift bags to share with health care residents. The bags contained small chocolates with special non-food gift bags for those with dietary restrictions.
