Headaches are the worst and meds only offer temporary relief.
A lot of the time, the real issue isn’t in your head at all. It’s from tight muscles and trigger points in your neck that irritate nearby nerves, sending pain up and around your skull.
Those knots build up from stress, posture, or overuse, and can cause pain to show up far from where they actually are.
Getting these muscles released can go a long way toward easing tension and reducing headache frequency. Especially when it’s paired with the right exercises to keep those areas moving and strong afterward.
