If you’ve tried things that help for a day or two but never last, you’re not alone.

Most people get short-term relief because they only address one piece of the problem.

When your joints, muscles, and movement patterns all work together, your body finally gets a chance to heal and stay that way.

That’s the approach we take with every visit.

One more run before race day.

First race since moving from Colorado three years ago.

Life’s a lot busier now, but I’m grateful for the support at home and excited to see what Sunday brings.

Neck pain and headaches often come from muscles that get tight and joints that stop moving well.

These three simple moves can help:

1. Chin retractions – slide your head straight back to take pressure off the base of your skull and wake up the deep stabilizers

2. Side bend with a chin retraction – opens the tight muscles on the side of your neck so the joints can glide the way they’re supposed to

3. Rotation with a chin retraction + small nod – targets the deep muscles under your skull that often trigger headaches

Go slow and controlled for 30 seconds holds. A little bit every day helps your neck relax, move better, and stay out of that painful cycle.

Headaches are the worst and meds only offer temporary relief.

A lot of the time, the real issue isn’t in your head at all. It’s from tight muscles and trigger points in your neck that irritate nearby nerves, sending pain up and around your skull.

Those knots build up from stress, posture, or overuse, and can cause pain to show up far from where they actually are.

Getting these muscles released can go a long way toward easing tension and reducing headache frequency. Especially when it’s paired with the right exercises to keep those areas moving and strong afterward.

You can start easing that muscle tension that drives headaches at home with a few simple resets.

Try these 3 steps to see how much pressure you can take off your neck (and your head).

If your headaches keep coming back, that’s usually a sign there’s more going on beneath the surface.

Most headaches aren’t just ‘in your head.’

They start with tight muscles in your neck that build into knots and trigger points. With the right movements and at-home exercises, you can keep that tension from coming back and help prevent future headaches.

We can help you pinpoint which movements will keep that tension from building again.
