Today we remember the six million Jewish lives lost in the Holocaust—
and the millions more silenced, displaced, and broken by hatred.
We remember not just the history, but the warning.
Because remembrance is not passive.
It asks something of us now.
It asks us to stay awake when dehumanization becomes normalized.
To speak when language turns cruel.
To protect life when fear tries to override compassion.
In a world that feels increasingly divided, remembering the Holocaust is not about the past—it’s about responsibility.
May we never grow so numb, so distracted, or so comfortable that we forget where hatred leads.
May memory keep us human.
Never forget. Never again. 🕯️
