New Beginnings Birth Center - Twin Falls

It’s beginning to look more festive here at New Beginnings Twin Falls. We decided to celebrate our time here in the Magic Valley by decorating an ornament for the babies born with us! If you delivered with us, feel free to drop by and pick up your ornament(s) sometime in the next couple of weeks. We’d love to see your kiddos growing up!

This morning we welcomed baby Everlyann and we are honored to share the news that her grandmother grew up in the home that is now our special birth center. These pictures are taken in the very corner Everlyann’s great grandfather would sit and enjoy his home. Even though we see three generations in this picture we can feel four. This was an honor for both midwives to attend this birth together. What amazing energy from a special family that came full circle here. Thank you Brenda and Matthew for letting us share this journey with you.

So this happened today. What a beautiful morning here at the Birth Center. When beautiful big sister met her strong baby brother for the first time, there was joy and laughter, it was beautiful. Welcome little one. You family loves you so.

And He arrived like he was born for race car driving! Welcome Baby Steven your parents are awesome and what a joy it was to accompany you coming earthside. Look at that heart shaped placenta. How perfect!!!!

Precious Baby girl was so happy when we told her that she was graduating from our care. She practically jumped up and did a happy dance. She is so perfect. “Can’t wait to see what your future holds, little one”. .

We love seeing our babies grow! This sweet boy is 16 months! Mom says that Kylar loves animals! 💕

We get to see our precious babes for such a short time after they are born. When we get pictures of the babies born last year, it Thrills our hearts. Little Jason is growing so handsome and strong. New Beginnings here in Twin Falls is so proud of you!!!

We met with this family for their one day post partum visit. Tho there are things to do and boxes to check, sometimes you just have to sit and enjoy the miracle of what we attend to. It truly is our calling to serve our community.

This precious little one was born at home in the heat of the evening. But what a cool, calm and collected mom and dad she has. Welcome to the earth Baby Ru! Your family is amazing !!!!

6 wk appts are always bittersweet. Brook and baby Cheyenne are doing wonderful. We will sure miss having their regular appts. We were so privileged to be apart of their pregnancy and birth journey. Brook, Your strength inspired us!!! .

Celebrating our sweet Kayla’s (Office Administrator- Twin Falls) baby shower. She and husband Austin will welcome their little bundle of awesomeness in July.

Meet her beautiful children!!! All 6 older ones encircle with love their new little sister. Peace and heavenly smells filled this home while mom and dad worked United to bring her earth side. New Beginnings celebrates with them in welcoming their new little one.

6 wks post partum already? Seems like yesterday you were here having your previous baby now we are saying “until next time” to this precious one. Thank you Kenzie and baby Posey for brightening our corner of the world. Can’t wait to see you and your siblings grow! Oh the places you will go!!! !

This beautiful girl!! One of two heathy babies born at New Beginnings Twin Falls this weekend while their birthing parents were laboring at the same time. It was a lovely party!!!

Great things happen at New Beginnings.

Look who turned 1 year old! Dietrich was born on Easter last year, welcoming him to the world was such a special way to spend the day!

Reminder about this fantastic resource for any postpartum mamas out there! Today they’ll be meeting at 4pm, but will soon be meeting every other Monday at 5pm. If you need a safe space to talk and process how you’re feeling in your postpartum check out this group! Life is better together

Just a quick update, we are needing to cancel our childbirth education classes for this upcoming weekend. Truly sorry to those that made the necessary arrangements to be available. We do plan on rescheduling the classes at a later time. Once we have arranged a set time and date we will announce it! Thank you all for your understanding.

Just a reminder that our next session for childbirth education classes is this Friday, March 11th, 2022 from 6-9pm & Saturday, March 12th, 2022 from 9am-5pm. Taught by midwife, Beth, and doula, Sarah. They will be hosted at the birth center. These classes are one of the best ways to prepare for a natural birth! Myself and Student Midwife Allie were blessed to attend this awesome birth yesterday. Mom was fearlessly powerful supported by loving dad and her sweet mother, receiving her quiet precious Khloee in the water.

We are so excited that this group will be available in our community starting 1/24! It can be so helpful to know you’re not alone especially when “momming” feels like a lot. Please be careful today. Twin Falls have cancelled all schools today. The county sheriffs says please stay home if possible. If you need to reschedule your appt for another day, that is okay. It looks like the weather will be improving In The near future. It is important to be safe in all aspects of your pregnancy.

Wanting to share the latest evidence.

This is Leysi at her six week visit! Big sister was also born with NBBC. Leysi is a miracle baby and her mama gave me permission to share her story. This mama had an early pregnancy loss last year. Shortly after the loss she became pregnant again, but an early ultrasound was uncertain if there was a viable pregnancy or if this was yet another loss. Further imaging was requested and a doctor recommended a D and C to clean out the uterus. Mama declined saying she’d wait to see what happened. She still felt pregnant and didn’t want to do anything to harm the pregnancy. After weeks of uncertainty another ultrasound showed a viable baby at 16wks along! At that time she was told baby was a boy. Mom and dad were thrilled to have a healthy baby growing and grateful that they stuck to their guns and didn’t allow themselves to be talked into the D and C. Yet another ultrasound at 20 weeks revealed that baby was actually a girl! Talk about keeping this family in their toes! The pregnancy progressed normally and Leysi was born 10/7/21 in the water! We are so thrilled to have been part of this wild ride with such a joyful outcome! Mom wanted to share to give other mamas dealing with loss and grief some hope.
