🐴❤️ Hoofprints That Last Forever
These are two of our horses' recent hoof clippings. One large, one small—proof that horse hooves come in all shapes and sizes.
While these hoofprints may be trimmed away, the impressions our horses leave on our hearts never are. Every horse, no matter their size, leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, lessons, and unforgettable memories.
Of course, loving and caring for these amazing animals comes with a cost. One of our biggest expenses is keeping our four-legged team members healthy and comfortable. With 15 horses needing farrier care every 6 weeks... we'll let you do the math. It's Friday, and we'd rather be spending time with horses than calculators. 😅

Any guesses which two horses these hoof clippings belong to? (Hint: they're both among the biggest members of our herd!) 🐴💕

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice has given us freedoms and opportunities we often take for granted, and today we reflect with gratitude for those who served and the families who continue to carry their legacy.

As we spend time with family, friends, and community, may we also take a moment to remember the true meaning of the day.

In observance of Memorial Day, Rising Stars Ranch will be closed today. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon.

Hey friends! A friend is going to pound posts for us on Tuesday for a big fence/trail project we have going on. We need to measure, cut and distribute posts tomorrow and Tuesday AM. This is laxt minute bur if anybody has time on their hands tomorrow or first thing Tuesday please let us know. No specific skills necessary but if you can cut with a torch or have a band saw that cuts pipe let us know. You will get dirty so dress accordingly.
