Today at work I saw a piece of wall art that simply said "Every breath is a blessing" and it really hit home. With the people that suffer from PF it is 100% truth. My wife was diagnosed almost 4 years ago. She was told she had 3 to 5 years, typically. Well my wife is no typical woman. She is still going strong. There are some days when I forget she is sick. Of course there are the times that I get overwhelmingly reminded of her condition. So yes every breath is a blessing, you never know when you or your loved one will not be able to take another one. The best advice I can give to those of you either with PF or the caregivers is just to live and love with all of yourself.
