❤️ HOW TO BOOST YOUR CARDIOVASCULAR FITNESS:
✔️ Move 30 minutes a day (walk, cycle, dance, swim)

❄️ SNOW SHOVELING SAFETY REMINDER ❄️
Snow shoveling is serious cardio, not just a chore — and every year it leads to heart attacks and cardiac emergencies.

🧤 Before you shovel:
• Warm up for 5–10 minutes
• Dress in layers (don’t overheat)
• Drink water
• Know your risk if you have heart disease, high BP, or are inactive

❄️ While shoveling:
• Push snow when possible — don’t lift
• Take small loads and lift with your legs
• NO twisting
• Pace yourself and take breaks
• Keep breathing — don’t hold your breath

🚨 STOP immediately if you feel:
• Chest pain or pressure
• Shortness of breath
• Dizziness or nausea
• Pain in jaw, neck, shoulder, or arm

🧠 Smart options:
• Shovel early and often
• Use a snow blower
• Ask for help or hire help

❤️ Bottom line:
Snow shoveling is intense exercise. Treat it like a workout — or skip it if you’re high risk.
