Springtime is for eggs! Chickens... ducks... you name it! We have 7 female ducks and are getting 6 to 7 eggs a day 😳 have you ever had duck eggs? I love them for baking as they add extra fluff to your baked goods! 🦆 Daisy is perfecting her little nest ❤️

Side story... Last year at a vendor show, I had a very nice lady ask if I made Lilac soap and I said yes! In the spring 🪻Maybe I'll see her again at an upcoming event 😊

Third yard and 2 for 2 here!! That means 8 out of 8 survived the winter and with flying colors! ❤️🐝❤️

These little ladies were bringing in so much nectar and pollen they could hardly get into the hive entrance with their heavy abdomens and pollen baskets 😆🤗🐝

What kind of honey harvest will I get this year? Any guesses? Last year was 700 pounds from 11 hives 🍯 I'll be splitting most of these, but there are always variables along the way... like this frost coming Sunday and Monday night 😢❄️ that tends to kill the early flower buds and slows production a little. But they got an amazing head start, so we'll see! 🤞
