The Nurture Place

The Nurture Place The Nurture Place is a mental wellness movement bringing trauma-informed resources to every family. Together, we create a strong, healthy communities!

The Nurture Place was founded in 2019 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the mission to expand access to care for children, families, and our community. We are committed to an evidence-based, best practice approach to family support. The Nurture Place provides opportunities for families to discover and develop their strengths, heal from adversity and grow thriving and strong connections. We have two locations serving Central Florida in Winter Garden and in Orlando. Our team is committed to providing a felt-safe space and a wellspring of support in our community for families’ overall wellness. We collaborate with families and community professionals to provide opportunities for prevention, intervention and healing.

We are excited to introduce TNP Workshops to the community this year! 💛 Each quarter we will host a free, hour-long workshop designed to bring expertise about a certain topic to you in a short format that allows you to gain information and ask practical questions.

This Thursday, you're invited to join us for our first workshop! Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Ashley Bryant-Wenz will lead us in learning about anxiety in children.

This week was National School Social Work Week! We are so grateful for the way social workers bring practical help and hopeful inspiration to the students they work with.

The School Social Work Association of America shared "social workers are key contributors to student mental health, school climate, family engagement, and equitable access to services."
