Jagbir Kang is a two-time cancer survivor and a proof that perseverance and persistence lead to a path of healing and growth. However, sometimes, difficult experiences hold you back from living a more fulfilling and meaningful life. By becoming a Yoga and Meditation teacher, she has embarked on the quest to empower others to rediscover their inner strengths and take their power back for healing and growth. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from the Harvard Extension Studies, a Bachelor's and a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Palo Alto University. Additionally, she’s a writer, an advocate for domestic violence survivors, and a promoter of mental health awareness and recovery.

There’s an incredible power in creative outlets which may help with trauma recovery.

Whether it's picking up a paintbrush, expressing your thoughts through writing, or exploring any other form of art—engaging in creative activities provides an outlet to express emotions and feelings that sometimes words just can't capture.

Writing down your thoughts or painting your emotions can help you process everything you've been through. It gives you a safe space to explore, discover yourself, and even find healing. 🌻

Remember, there are no rules or expectations when it comes to creativity. You are free to express yourself without judgment. Self-discover, heal, and find solace in the process.

Nature itself can serve as a safe haven for inspiration, reflection, and healing as you recuperate from stress and trauma. Did you know that studies show that spending time in quiet wooded areas can lower our rates of anxiety, depression, and the level of stress hormones while improving our cognitive abilities?
